The Lombardy Region has recently identified the risk areas of exposure to radon. Radon is a pollutant of natural origin present in the environment and which can reach particularly high levels in closed environments. Exposure to radon is related to the onset of cancer. The greater the exposure, the greater the risk. There is no threshold value below which the risk is zero.

The BURL No. 26 of 28 June 2023 identified the municipalities in which the concentrations of environmental radon are high above the average. In these municipalities, employers who carry out their business in basement or ground floor environments will be required to carry out measurements of the average annual concentration of radon, and to apply remediation actions in cases where the values are > 300 Bq/m.

Through our IBS ANALYSIS company, we can carry out the measurement of the concentration of this pollutant.
